ARTICLE 13 – NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY

The Butterfly Foundation does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

PRIVACY & REFUND POLICIES

Donation Refund Policy

If you have made an error in making your donation or are unable to make the contribution to The Butterfly Foundation, we will honor your request for a refund made within 5 business days of your donation. To request a refund, call 720 471 2566. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment, except cash donations will be returned via check. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Events Refund Policy

Golf registrations are final and nonrefundable, but the original donor can substitute a player for the golf event.

Privacy Policy

The Butterfly Foundation respects and protects your privacy. The Butterfly Foundation will never sell or rent your personal information to other individuals or companies. When you make a donation, your name will be included in The Butterfly Foundation newsletters and other publications. If you do not wish to share your name, or you choose to make your donation anonymously, The Butterfly Foundation will not publish your name.

When you create an account with The Butterfly Foundation, you will receive an acknowledgment of your donation for your records, and an occasional email and postal delivery updates. If you do not wish to hear from us, simply uncheck the box on the bottom of the billing page, unsubscribe from any mailing or contact us directly.

We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this web site.

Referrals: If you refer or inform a friend about our site, you will be asked for the friend’s name and email address. The Butterfly Foundation will send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. The Butterfly Foundation stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and will not add your friend to our mailing list.

Gift Donations: If you make a donation as a gift on The Butterfly Foundation’ website, we will keep the gift recipient’s information confidential the same way that we keep your information confidential.

Changes to the Policy: The Butterfly Foundation periodically reviews and updates our policy for communicating with you via occasional email updates. We will post any updates about that policy on our website.
